A 35 year old Harare man was last week arrested for illegal possession of and selling crocodile eggs.
The man whose name could not be ascertained was arrested at Joina City last weekend carrying 59 eggs stashed in a cooler box with the intention of selling them.

According to Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority the man will appear in court for violating the Parks and Wildlife Act.
ZPWMA spokesperson Caroline Washaya Moyo said the man was selling the eggs at $6 each and will face a one year jail term if convicted by the Court.
"We confirm that he was selling each egg at US$6 and he will appear in court facing charges of contravening the Parks and Wildlife Act. If convicted, he will face one year imprisonment," said Washaya-Moyo.
She also urged the public not to remove any animal or animal products from any land illegally as it is a criminal offence.
